White-tailed Sea Eagle with a fish.

Flatanger, Norway. Canada Geese having a disagreement about something, I'm not sure what!!

Taken in Southern Norway. Spent two days this June photographing Great Grey Owls from a tree hide over looking their nest. They had 5 chicks which I was told was very unusual.

This photo shows the female in flight just after leaving the nest. It always amazes me how such a large bird can fly so silently through the forest.

Taken in Sweden. Male Black Grouse giving highly distinctive mating call, Skelleftea, Sweden. Black Grouse (Tetrao tetrix) is a large bird in the grouse family. It breeds across Northern Europe in moorland and bog areas near to forest, mostly boreal. These birds have a display or lek in early spring. Black grouse have a very distinctive and well recorded courtship ritual or game. At dawn in the spring, the males strut around in a traditional area and display whilst making a highly distinctive mating call. This process is called a Lek - the grouse are said to be lekking.
